Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary Tours
Broken Shovels offers tours as a way to connect our rescued animal residents with our community, just 15 minutes from downtown Denver.
We are not a petting zoo but instead a place to create a meaningful connection with farm animals you may otherwise not have the opportunity to meet or spend time with.
Because of our hectic and full schedules, and because private tours require extra staffing and can take away from valuable work time, we do need to charge for our tours. Information can be found under our Donate page to learn more. Contact us if you have additional questions.
We welcome school groups, homeschool groups and families wanting to experience farm animals in a sanctuary environment versus a food production environment. We can tailor our presentation to specific areas of study but will present animal ethics from an animal equality perspective.
We will limit to small groups for a fun learning opportunity, not as an amusement park for petting zoo outing.
Join us for an evening with the animals. You can bring a picnic and a bottle of wine, and soak up the ambiance of the farm.
Have a vegan food related business? Or would your organization just like to spend an afternoon outdoors learning together and enjoying animals?
