Much of the United States is experiencing an immense heat wave and in these conditions our main priority is to make sure the animals are as comfortable and safe as possible. We’ve set up 600 feet of misting hoses and so many shade sails. Constant wellbeing checks, refilling pig mud ponds and keeping waters full and fresh are also critical in taking care of over 700 chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, turkeys, alpacas, ducks, geese, llamas, equines and water buffaloes. At least big brother Yama and baby Shiva are enjoying the frequent hose-downs! We hope that you and all animals in affected parts of the country are staying as cool as possible. Not saying we’re excited for winter, but this heat is just too much.
