Dennis Boggio Appointed Design and Development Director for Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary
Dennis Boggio AIA, a long-time successful Denver Architect, CEO and Advocate for Animal Welfare has been appointed the “Design and Development Director” by the Board of Directors of the Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary in Henderson, Colorado.
Situated on 20 acres in Henderson, Colorado, the Sanctuary provides lifelong refuge to Dogs, Cats, Goats, Cows, Equine Animals, Pigs, Water Buffalo, Birds and many other farm animals who have been neglected, abandoned, or at risk.
To responsibly expand the impact and ensure long-term sustainability, Broken Shovels is launching a comprehensive site-wide master planning and development initiative. Working in partnership with founder Andrea Davis, Mr. Boggio is forming the Advisory Board to guide the Master Plan, Funding and the overall Strategic Development Plan.
The $14 Million, 20-acre Comprehensive Capital Development Program is structured to expand capacity, provide educational opportunities for the community and strengthen long term viability ensuring the highest level of care for animals who deserve safety, dignity and protection.
As this important initiative moves forward, Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary welcomes the engagement of leaders, philanthropists, and advocates for animal welfare who share a commitment to building a compassionate and sustainable future for animals.
